Chart notes
BUYBACK was away alertly and was sent to set the pace, rated nicely through the backstretch run, opened the lead a bit along the second turn and into the stretch and kicked clear in the end. ASSIGNATION stumbled at the start and settled toward the rear, improved position along the second turn while two wide and was outfinished by the winner in the late going but kept on to secure second. BRITTLE AND YOO stalked the pace from a two wide path to the second turn, lost ground into the stretch run, drifted in and bumped SHERILINDA nearing the sixteenth-marker and was outkicked in the late going. SHERILINDA saved ground while forwardly placed through the second turn, chased the top pair into the stretch, was bumped nearing the sixteenth-marker by BRITTLE AND YOO and weakened in the final stages. MISS EVER READY was bumped at the start by BACK ON THE STREET and was away a bit slowly, settled through the backstretch run, was three wide on the second turn and did not offer a late rally. BACK ON THE STREET broke out at the start and bumped MISS EVER READY, stalked the pace to the backstretch run, lost ground on the second turn while four wide and faded in the drive. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT IN MID-STRETCH INVOLVING BRITTLE AND YOO AND SHERILINDA AND IN A UNANIMOUS DECISION RULED THAT BRITTLE AND YOO CAME OVER A PATH, BUMPED SHERILINDA AND IMPEDED THAT RUNNER, COSTING HER A BETTER PLACING AND DISQUALIFIED BRITTLE AND YOO FROM THIRD TO FOURTH.
