Chart notes
LUCKY GIRL (IRE) hit the gate and got bumped at the start, tracked three deep up the backstretch, bid three deep into the far turn and took over with three-eighths remaining, held a short lead around the bend, cleared exiting the turn, drifted out a bit in the lane and inched away under a strong drive. ISLAND OF LOVE (IRE) got knocked into rival at the start, stalked along the inside, angled outside the top pair with five-sixteenths remaining, took aim three wide into the stretch, chased the winner through the lane but failed to produce the needed late kick. GOLD DRAGON QUEEN stalked three then two wide around the first turn, angled three wide on the far turn and brushed with foe at the five-sixteenths pole, moved back into the two path late on that turn, kept to task through the lane but could not summon the needed rally. TRAVEL SMART was off slow from inside, checked off heels prior to the first turn, saved ground to the stretch, tipped out in the lane and failed to make an impact. SHOPPINGFORPHAROAH broke out and bumped rival, set the pace on the inside while under pressure, lost command at the three-eighths marker, fought back through the turn, lost touch with the winner into the stretch and weakened. FUENTE OVEJUNA (GB) pressed the pace from outside, got crowded between rivals at the three-eighths pole, steadied and brushed with rival at the five-sixteenths pole, steadied again at the quarter pole and weakened.
