Chart notes
DISCREET SISTER was well rated early, then split rivals around the five sixteenths pole, then made a five wide move by the quarter pole, then had a long drive with ON ISLAND TIME edged clear leaving the sixteenth pole and then held off WIRETAP late to prove best under a drive. WIRETAP was well placed early on the inside, then was blocked by the quarter pole to the furlong marker, angled out for racing room and closed well late to just miss. ON ISLAND TIME dueled for the early lead and made a inside bid on the turn, came off the rail leaving the turn and stayed on determinedly but faded late. GOLDEN LAW stalked the early pace and four wide and faded. SWEET MESA was allowed to settle early, advanced on the inside on the turn but finished evenly late. JUSTKISSMYGRITS dueled for the lead two to three wide and weakened in the drive.
