Chart notes
SHANE'S JEWEL set a fast pace while clear, was roused leaving the turn and responded well to draw clear in the stretch to prove best. PRIME TIME PLAYER chased the early pace four wide, made a three wide bid on the turn, then shifted in leaving the furlong marker but failed to gain on the winner, second best. MIDNIGHT ACT was allowed to settle early, then was three wide by the quarter pole while in contention but finished evenly late. SOUPER CATCH tracked the winner three wide and weakened. ROYAL SUSPECT was reserved early on the inside, then shifted out on the turn and was five wide by the quarter pole and had no rally. YES SIR COLONEL was settled three wide and was four wide by the quarter pole and had no response.
