Chart notes
JACKSON MAN took the lead nearing the three quarter pole and angled to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure past the seven sixteenths, ran at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled in the stretch. SMALL PAW stalked off the rail, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced close off the rail on the far turn but had to settle for second best. QUID PRO QUO stalked the earlier pace inside, bid toward the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail, angled to the five path leaving the turn then flattened the final eighth. GOLDEN METTLE saved ground off the pace, bid at the rail nearing the quarter pole but showed little in the lane. MY BOY STRYKER rated close in the two and three paths, bid toward the three eighths pole then faded through the far turn. ROCKET BALLAD raced well back.
