LA RUFINA exchanged contact with Not For Gold leaving the gate, took the lead into the backstretch and set a pressured pace, dueled clear midway on the turn and was steadily handled through the lane. IAMTHEBESTTOO chased toward the inside, rounded the turn near the rail then dueled through the stretch for second. MEET MS BOBBI RAE engaged in close early chase, rounded the turn in the three and four paths but was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. NOT FOR GOLD exchanged contact with La Rufina leaving the gate then pressured that one at mostly even terms through the backstretch, dropped back midway on the turn and flattened stride late stretch. MISS MORGANTOWN gave chase, rounded the turn in the four and five paths, left the turn widest and could only close the gap. FLIRTING FUHR AVIE gave chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn and ran evenly through the stretch.
