Chart notes
BEAUTIFUL ART steered off the inside to stalk the top pair, bid three deep into the turn, battled in the four path around the bend, took over at the top of the lane, then kicked clear and drew away. MAGICNTHEMOONLIGHT pressed the pace from outside, vied for command from between foes in the three path on the turn, brushed with MIDNIGHT FURY at the top of the stretch and kept on to edge that rival for second. MIDNIGHT FURY set the pace under pressure, vied with a pair of rivals around the turn, brushed with rival at the top of the stretch and got edged for the place. CANDY FOR CARMEL tracked well off the rail up the backstretch, chased four then three wide around the turn and could not rally. DELMAS was off slow to start, steadied behind a rival well off the rail on the backstretch, angled down to the inside, saved ground then exited the bend two wide and weakened. SALTO DE TIGRE dropped back early, went five wide into the turn, angled to the inside and traveled a bit off the rail into the stretch and failed to menace.
