Chart notes
MY BEST FRIEND was hustled to the lead leaving the half mile pole and rated the pace, came under pressure at the quarter pole, rounded the turn near the rail and was steadily handled through the lane. MANAROLA gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path, dug in from the head of the lane, came between horses mid-stretch and dueled for second the final sixteenth. LOOKINGFORANEWSPOT came away a bit awkwardly then chased outside, rounded the turn about the five path and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. PEPPA STARR chased, dueled close nearest the rail on the turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. MS HEADLEY pressured the early pace then gave chase from the three eighths pole, continued close in the three path of the turn but flattened the final sixteenth. NICE N' BROAD gave distant early chase, rounded the turn off the rail, eased outward in the upper stretch and could only close the gap. COLLEGE KID was not a factor.
