Chart notes
FIRST CALL was reserved off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out further into the stretch and wore down PIKNITUPLAYNITDOWN in the final yards to be clear late. PIKNITUPLAYNITDOWN was away in good order to set a pressured pace, responded when challenged by MAJESTIC STREET nearing the seven-sixteenths pole, vied with that foe, opened a clear lead into the lane but could not match strides with the winner late. LARRY'S LEGEND was never far back, raced five-wide through the turn and finished with a steady bid. MAJESTIC STREET pressed the pace of PIKNITUPLAYNITDOWN while racing three-wide, moved up to engage that rival nearing the seven-sixteenths pole, vied and gave way in the drive. ASCOT STORM was forwardly placed from the inside and gradually weakened.
