Chart notes
DARNQUICK broke sharply to duel for the early advantage with STONE CARVER, vied with that rival through a vigorous drive and prevailed in the closing yards. STONE CARVER dueled for the lead with the winner from the inside through a prolonged drive and gave way grudgingly to that rival late. RACE HOME was off a step slow, settled off the leaders from between foes, moved four-wide through the turn angled out further into the stretch and finished full of run. GREEK GEEK raced off the pacesetters early, moved up from the inside to gain a contending position, could not reach the top pair in the drive but finished with good courage. SOMETHING SUPER was void of early speed, raced five-wide through the turn and failed to threaten. TAKE CHARGE DEPUTY was off a step slow, showed no early speed, raced six-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid. UNLEASH THE BEAST was reserved just off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn, offered a bid into the lane but was not urged and gave way.
