Chart notes
WITNESS THE ENERGY accelerated to the front inside nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the turn at the rail, came under pressure nearing the eighth pole and was kept alert through the lane. POWER SONDE chased inside, raced at the rail on the turn, dug in from the head of the lane and was gaining late. DEREKA'S BLUFF chased toward the inside, improved at the rail on the turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for second. HANDSOME JOANIE gave chase, ran in the three path of the turn and raced evenly in the lane. SISTER JOANN hesitated a full length at the break then gave chase, rounded the turn in the four and five paths, angled to the outside toward the head of the lane and showed little further. MARLEESBEEBEE was difficult to load, gave close early chase then weakened in the four and five paths of the turn.
