NOW I'M BROKE chased then challenged four wide into the turn, dug in widest leaving the turn to take over mid-stretch and drew off under steady handling. HURRICANE AMIGO contested the pace with Tempesta from the start, kept the edge nearest the rail on the turn but was caught mid-stretch and relented. KING T'CHALLA lunged causing her rider to lose his left iron, quickly recovered to give close chase, factored three wide on the turn but flattened inside the eighth pole. TEMPESTA contested the pace with Hurricane Amigo from the start, raced at a close disadvantage two deep while between horses on the turn then weakened leaving the eighth pole. CHANNEL SCENT gave chase, rounded the turn in the three path and showed little in the lane. SWEET NATION gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail then weakened.
