Chart notes
NAMEEOMEE gave chase inside and rounded the turn near the rail, eased outside the pace-setter leaving the turn and dug in to take over the final strides. ALWAYS MIA gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path then dug in from the head of the lane to take second the final strides. DING DING took the lead on the chute and set a pressured pace inside, dug in under steady encouragement leaving the turn but was caught flattening stride late yards. REIGN ON AND ON gave chase but was checked from tight quarters between horses approaching the quarter pole, recovered stride off the rail on the turn, finished well and was gaining on the early leader. SHINY PENNY gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path and showed little further. AMERICAN BOUND chased, rounded the turn off the rail and proved empty in the lane. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the rider of Always Mia, lodged by the rider of Reign On And On for alleged interference nearing the quarter pole, though, found no infraction.
