Chart notes
KHULUQ veered out at the start then was hustled while corrected by the rider, contested the pace on the outside while in hand, moved to a solo advantage with five furlongs to run, was asked in the two path midway through the turn, shook off the runner-up into upper stretch, came under a left-handed crop around the three-sixteenths, drew off under the crop until just outside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a solid hand-ride to the wire while much the best. CULDEE angled out near the three-quarter pole, settled on the outside, moved closer with five furlongs to run, chased in the three path around the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and proved no match for the winner while clear for the place. POINT PLEASANT was well positioned just off the pace, dropped back under urging in the two path early on the turn, moved to the rail late on that bend and tired while best of the rest. OH MRS. MAISEL moved out while settling at the rear, was urged three wide on the turn and came up empty. DOLCE SERA settled off the pace, dropped back and lost position near the nine-sixteenths, was urged along in the two path passing the half-mile pole, shifted four wide under strong urging at the three-eighths, turned into the stretch under the crop and failed to respond. ROZ contested the early pace, dropped back with five furlongs to run, came up empty while inside early on the turn and retreated.
