Chart notes
RAGTIME BLUES broke out a step at the start, chased four wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive steadily gaining through the final furlong to take command seventy yards from home, then inched away to the finish kept to task. MONTAUK DADDY coaxed from the gate, crossed to show the way in hand two to three wide down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn, remained patiently handled shaking away near the quarter pole, swung three to four wide into upper stretch, dug in clear to the eighth pole before coming under growing threat to the outside, got collared seventy yards from the finish and was along clear for the place honors. MR. PETE four then three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing just inside the three-eighths, spun four wide into upper stretch and kept on well clear of the rest for the show honors. TALE OF MIST chased just off the inside under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, angled out six wide at the head of the stretch, tired in the drive. P J ADVANTAGE chased along the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn placed to coaxing three furlongs from home, angled out four wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
