Chart notes
CABOT TRAIL vied for the early lead from the inside and prevailed in the drive under strong pressure. TOMMYHAWK was allowed to settle early, moved up five to six wide through the stretch run and finished gamely to the wire. GRAND ROYALE stalked the pace, raced two to three wide in the lane and finished willingly to the wire. TROY OUNCE stalked the early pace, raced four wide into the upper stretch and flattened out in the final stages. HOT TICKET was slow early, raced along the inside and had no response. MR. SHAPOOR pressed the early leader while racing two wide and gave way.
