Chart notes
EL GRAPPLER stalked the early pace, raced four wide in the drive and finished well to edge clear late under strong handling. HELLO HEARTBREAKER showed good early speed to set the pace along the inside but couldn't hold off the winner in the final stages to finish second best. BACKSTAGE BUD was forwardly placed to lay up close, raced three wide in the lane and had no final winning bid. G'S STORM raced up close along the inside down the backstretch and weakened the final eighth of a mile. CONTINENTAL COWBOY dropped back early and failed to respond. DREAMS AFFIRMED raced far back and never threatened. PURLOINER was eased and walked off the track under his own power.
