Chart notes
KEEN MACHINE saved ground off the pace, bid leavintg the three eighths pole, raced boxed in at the rail on the far turn, eased out toward the head of the lane and took the lead just inside the eighth pole, widened in the upper stretch and was kept alert to late stretch. MISS SEDUCTIVE rounded the first turn about the four path, bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced close three wide on the far turn and came along to take second nearing mid-stretch. NOBLE PRESENT rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, was caught leaving the eighth pole and flattened through the lane. MY BRIDGET VERDOT ran in the five path the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the five path of the far turn and showed little further. LA REINA SUSAN stalked two deep then challenged approaching the three eighths pole, raced close through the backstretch but checked from between horses midway on the far turn and gave way. NANNY'S MISSION showed no response through the backstretch and was not encouraged. Strong wind gusts have had an effect on fractional times, and final time of this race.
