Chart notes
DECOUPAGE rated a slim lead inside, was met nearing the seven sixteenths pole and dueled at even terms from that point, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn and dug in under steady encouragement to just last. MOMA TIGER rounded the opening turn in the three and four paths, bid nearing the three eighths pole, came through the far turn about the three path, dug in to take second in the final yards and was gaining on the winner. COMPLETE SURPRISE stalked off the rail then challenged nearing the seven sixteenths pole and dueled at mostly even terms from that point, contested at a close disadvantage two deep on the far turn and remained close to late stretch before ceding; grudgingly. STOWE ANGEL settled off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole then flattened in the three path of the far turn. BENEATH THE STARS stalked the early pace inside, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole but weakened at the rail on the far turn. LADY MACHO saved ground.
