Chart notes
GOLDEN KEY pressured the early pace then took over nearing the five sixteenths pole, drew clear at the rail midway on the turn and held on with steady stretch handling. CAIRO CALLING pressured the pace three wide, raced close through the turn and finished well to hold onto second. MACY'S BOY chased, rounded the turn about the three path and finished well while gaining on the runner-up. COWBOY AT HEART steadied on the chute then gave chase inside, rounded the turn about the four path, raced outside leaving the turn and finished well. DAN THE MAN CAN gave chase, rounded the turn off the rail and ran evenly in the lane. STRETCH THE TRUTH chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn near the rail then flattened. PETE THE BEAST set a pressured early pace, was caught nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the turn and faded into the stretch.
