TO THE FRONT gave chase, rounded the turn in the three path and dug in under steady handling to take over inside the sixteenth pole. PRIMAL DESTINY was hustled along for the early lead then gave chase at near even terms past the three eighths pole, recovered the edge nearing the quarter pole, drew clear midway on the turn, dug in under steady stretch handling but grudgingly ceded inside the sixteenth pole. BEVERLY PARK gave distant early chase, rounded the turn off the rail, steadily improved to take third inside the sixteenth pole and finished well. ALLTHEWAY TO CAIRO gave chase, rounded the turn about the four path, raced outside into the lane and passed rivals. ONE MORE FACTOR gave chase inside, ran at the rail on the turn and showed little further. RULING gave chase outside, rounded the turn about the four path and showed little in the lane. STRONG LIKE BULL took the lead at the three eighths pole and dueled at even terms from that point, was caught at the rail approaching the quarter pole, dropped bck midway on the turn and weakened past the eighth pole.
