Chart notes
SLIPSTREAM trailed the field early on, raced on the rail through the turn, came up the inside in the upper stretch under a rally, drove past the leader, inched clear a bit and held sway in the final stages. TWILIGHT GLEAMING (IRE) set the pace from the outset, raced in the two path along the turn, fanned into the five path entering the lane, was overtaken near the eighth pole, drifted out a bit but tried to fight back to no avail. PURE PANIC tracked the early pace, raced on the inside along the turn, was in the three path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch run. CIRCLE BACK JACK chased the pace early, was in the four path into the lane and moved up late in the stretch drive. NO NAY FRANKLIN (IRE) was bothered and shied near the seven sixteenths pole, was in the six path entering the lane and improved position late in the stretch run.
