JACK THE RIPPER (FR) stalked from the three path and took the lead three wide approaching the three eighths pole, ran clear past the pole, was hand urged to draw away on the far turn then held well with steady stretch handling. HE'S NOT CURLY settled back two deep on the first turn, bid into the backstretch and rounded the far turn about the four path, took second inside the eighth pole and was closing on the winner late. WALL saved ground racing well back from eary contention, bid past the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the six path of the far turn and came along for third later yards. BROTHER SKYE saved ground on the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn two deep and flattened the final furlong. SILVER CASTLE raced with the early pace two deep and had a slim brief lead at the half mile pole, but was caught past the seven sixteenths and weakened at the rail on the far turn. LATE BREAKING NEWS saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and showed little more. WIDGET FACTORY rated a slim early lead inside, was caught into the backstretch, gave chase from the half mile pole then weakened at the rail on the far turn.
