Chart notes
SUMMERTIME MAGIC stalked the early pace three wide, made a four wide bid leaving the turn, took over and shifted in leaving the furlong marker and drew clear to prove best under a drive. SECRETS TOLD was well placed towards the inside, then was boxed by the quarter pole, then found room on the rail in the stretch and finished well to be second best. GAYELETTE pressed the early pace two wide, made a three wide bid by the quarter pole but flattened out in the final furlong, got nod for the show award. BIG GINGER set a pressured pace on the inside and dueled for command by the quarter pole and faded late, missed show award. ASTROLOGICAL chased the early pace two wide, then was three wide on the turn, shifted out five wide by the furlong marker but had no kick. SOME LIKE IT HOT was settled early and came three wide into the drive but had no rally.
