Chart notes
LIME SQUASH led the field from the two path around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to show the way around the far turn and kicked clear entering the stretch, drawing off to the wire under a drive. SPECTACULLARI raced in the four path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path passing the three eighths pole, and weakened in the final furlong while managing to hold the place. SMART TART trailed the field from the three path around the first turn and up the backstretch, began to improve position from the three path around the far turn and continued to gain ground on the outside down the lane, just missing the place. NORTHERN CROSS saved ground around the first turn, tracked the pacesetter on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path, offered a mild bid passing the quarter pole and was outkicked from there. FALSE RULING raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path, made a bid approaching the quarter pole and faded in the final furlong. TINAS SHINING STAR raced in the two path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack, navigated the far turn from the two and three path and made no bid. BROOKLYN MOJO pressed the pace from the three path through the opening half mile, angled over to save ground around the far turn and tired in the stretch.
