Chart notes
IRON IN THE FIRE vied for the early lead, raced outside around the turn, took command, drove clear and finished well. RELIC HUNTER broke sharp, challenged for the lead, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. T D Z HI COURT lacked early speed, made a late rail bid and was a clear third. BRIMESTONE KID raced near the middle of the field, eased back, made a late mild bid, but was no factor. LITTLE PUCK showed early speed, saved ground around the turn and lacked a finish. DUKE OF BLUE RIDGE void of early speed and was never close. CORN SOUP raced in the middle of the pack and retreated. FIGHTING SOLDIER always raced in the rear and showed little.
