DOUBLE BARREL MAN raced within striking distance, moved up on the outside around the turn, made a bid, dueled deep in the stretch and proved the best late. CREOLE CHARLIE sprinted to the front, drove clear, saved ground around the turn, was collared down the stretch by DOUBLE BARREL MAN and outfinished for the win. CAMEO DANCER pressed the pace, eased back, saved ground around the turn, made a mild bid, proved no match for the top two, but was an easy third. SMOOTH COLLIERY was an early factor, challenging for the lead, faded down the home stretch and was no threat late. STANDING MAN void of early speed and was never a factor. DOCTOR LEO always raced in the back and was outrun.
