Chart notes
CRY MACHO made the lead shortly after the start two wide, set a pressured pace between horses into the stretch, drifted to the seven path, shook clear and just lasted under strong handling. C C'S CLEAR CREEK pressed the pace three wide, was shifted out to the eight path and finished gamely for second. DRINKSONTHEBEACH unhurried early, swung wide and was steadily gaining ground on the top pair in the middle of the racetrack. INSACIABLE PRINCE trailed into the stretch and found his best stride late in the five path. FARMHAND pressed the pace along the rail into the stretch then flattened out. OFF TO THE RACES had speed into the turn then wilted.
