Chart notes
LITTLE MATILDA saved ground into the stretch, shifted out to the four path past the three sixteenths pole, surged under energetic handling and was along in time. MALICED rushed to the lead three deep leaving the clubhouse turn, set the balance of the pace then couldn't handle the late charge of the winner. HAPPY BEE stalked the pace and went evenly. BAD KARMA set the pace through the clubhouse turn, kept pressure into the stretch then faded. BACKSPLASH reared and turned her head just before the gate opened missing the break, rushed to contention four wide before a half then was used up. JETTIN PEGASUS was through after a half. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
