Chart notes
MIDNIGHT BRASS settled off the pace inside, started a three wide bid nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced close off the rail on the far turn, was carried out into the stretch but dug in through the final furlong to get up in the closing yards. MOIRAINE rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, drifted into the stretch, dug in under steady encouragement from the eighth pole but was caught the final yards. NINETY PROOF stalked from the three path the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole then faded at the rail on the far turn. TUESDAY TOO stalked off the rail, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but faded past the five sixteenths. FIRED UP bobbled a stride from the gate, rounded the opening turn about the three path and showed little response through the backstretch. TAPTAP saved ground early on then showed little response.
