Chart notes
JUST NOD AND SMILE stalked the early pace two deep, moved to even terms at the half mile pole, drew away through the backstretch and was steadily handled in the lane. LOULOVESTHERIVER saved early ground then eased outward into the backstretch, bid toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and took over second past the eighth pole. HACKER MAN rounded the opening turn about the four path, started a bid toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, angled out in the upper stretch and came along for third later yards. EXPLOITATION rated close to the early pace inside, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole then weakened in the lane. ROCK FILE settled off the pace in the two and three paths, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn then weakened. CHILLING SECRET rated a slim lead inside, was met into the backstretch, gave chase at that point but faded past the three eighths pole.
