Chart notes
ROYAL KAZ led the field between horses up the backstretch, continued to show the way while saving ground around the turn, kicked clear entering the stretch and was in command from there. KATZ ME AT NOON pressed the pace in the early going, chased the leader from the three path around the turn, and rallied down the lane, but could not go with the winner. ECHOES OF DESTINY bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and gained ground late. HAPPY GUY bumped with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and finished evenly while never threatening. IRON CLASH trailed the field through the opening quarter of a mile, raced in the two and three path around the turn, swung wide entering the stretch and was empty from there. CALL THE SHERIFF chased the leader on the outside early, launched a bid from the two path passing the three eighths pole and tired in the stretch.
