Chart notes
JAYJAYDEE stalked off the rail, challenged toward the seven sixteenths pole and drew to even terms at the five sixteenths, contested the edge two deep on the far turn and dug in determinedly to draw clear later yards. SAVATIANO ran two deep on the opening turn then lugged in a half path at the seven eighths pole, raced hemmed in through the front stretch then settled off the pace into the second turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail then dug in to take second the final yards. CHARITABLE SPENNY rated a short lead inside, came under pressure toward the seven sixteenths pole, was met at the five sixteenths and remained close at the rail on the far turn, though, flattened the final sixteenth. HOBE SOUND was squeezed in tight at the rail at the seven eighths pole then saved ground off the pace, bid past the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the four and five paths and ran evenly in the lane. JAMMIN JIMTOWN rated close to the early pace in the three and four paths, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the four path of the far turn then flattened in the lane. CANTAKEITANYMORE settled back well off the rail and never factored. TY RAN A HOMER rounded the first two turns in the four and five paths, raced outside into the backstretch and showed little response. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the rider of Savatiano for interference in the vicinity of the seven eighths pole, lodged by the rider of Hobe Sound, and consequently, disqualified the former to fourth place for coming in on the latter at the aforementioned location. In addition, this race was hand timed.
