Chart notes
NASHVEGAS settled close toward the inside, bid approaching the quarter pole, took the lead in the three path late on the far turn and was steadily handled in the lane. COMMANDING GENERAL stalked the early pace, moved to even terms and dueled with the nod from the half mile pole, contested the edge off the rail on the far turn, was caught toward the head of the lane and had to settle for second best. E J'S REVENGE rated a slim lead inside, was met and dueled from the half mile pole, dropped back at the rail midway on the far turn then flattened in the lane. MR HOOVER was crowded leaving the gate and settled back inside, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and showed little in the lane. GRECIAN ADMIRAL was crowded leaving the gate and rounded the opening turn off the rail, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn and showed little more. PAINT MUSIC FOR ME rounded the opening turn in the three and four paths, left the turn outside and showed little response. SCOTTY SILVER veered out leaving the gate and rounded the first turn about the five path, stalked into the backstretch, gave chase past the seven sixteenths pole but faded approaching the far turn.
