Chart notes
MOSS BOSS gave chase outside, rounded the turn in the four path, dueled for the lead inside the sixteenth pole and held well with steady handling. QUAD EIGHTS gave early chase inside, steadied at the rail past the five sixteenths pole, angled to the three path into the turn, closed to the heels of I'd Like To Know midway on the turn, angled four wide into the stretch and dug in to take second later yards. KUKULKAN was hustled along to take a slim lead nearing the five sixteenths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, gave up the lead past the sixteenth pole and flattened stride. MY CANDY BIZ gave chase outside, rounded the turn about the four path and passed rivals widest. I'D LIKE TO KNOW was hustled with a slim lead most of the opening quarter mile, pressured the winner nearing the five sixteenths pole, contested at a close disadvantage two deep on the turn then weakened in the lane. PERTH AMBOY gave chase, ran at the rail on the turn then flattened the final sixteenth. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the rider of Moss Boss, lodged by the rider of Quad Eights, though, found no infraction.
