BEBOP BABY made the lead out of the gate, racing along the rail, dueled in the turn with TEXAS ASCOT QUEEN, getting headed briefly in mid stretch and coming back on for a tough fought win and a driving finish. TEXAS ASCOT QUEEN pressed the pace down the backstretch, going two wide, dueled for the lead through the turn, coming on at the head of the stretch to gain a slight lead, but was outfinished with a game second. TEXAS RED BEL was mid pack, on the inside, then angled out at the head of the stretch, closing, four wide to get up for show. HAPPY SAILOR stalked the pace, three wide, then flattened out in the stretch drive. IT'S MY MONEY was mid field, going two wide with an even effort. DANCIN ALL ALONE showed no early foot, traveling along the inside, and passed a tiring rival. IMA SKY TRAVELER was mid pack early, two wide, and faded.
