Chart notes
DISIDE hopped up and hit the gate at the break, trailed the field early, began to improve position racing around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, gained ground inside late and got up in the final strides. DAPPER DAN MAN dueled for the lead on the inside around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path around the turn, gamely refused to yield in upper stretch and was caught late. COUNTERFEIT chased the leaders around the first turn and up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three and four path, offered a challenge at the top of the stretch and was outfinished from there. KITTENOFTHE COURT raced in the two path around the first turn, dueled on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid while racing in the two and three path around the far turn, and was outkicked late. STAR APPEARANCE raced in the middle of the pack early, dropped back to trail the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and made no bid. POWER SERVE raced at the back of the pack through the opening half mile, navigated the turn from the two path and came up empty in the stretch.
