Chart notes
NORTHWEST RAIN saved ground setting the pace while racing in hand, drew clear when asked and won with something left. UNION BLISS saved ground stalking the pace, angled out for the drive and finished well for the place while being unable to reach the winner. BALIUS allowed to settle in stride early, rallied three-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. LUCK IS MY NAME saved ground to the quarter pole, angled out five-wide and was gaining late. MARKSMAN ON TARGET saved ground while being unhurried , slipped through entering the stretch but failed to seriously threaten. BLAME THE DEVIL was four-wide on the turn and lacked a rally. J C EXPRESS prompted the pace from along the inside early and tired.
