Chart notes
ROBO bid from the inside into the turn, angled out at the eighth pole, dug in gamely, and was just up for the win under a strong hand drive. LET'S GO ALAMO dueled for the lead from the inside into the upper stretch, gained command briefly, then dueled with an outside rival but was caught in the end and was second best. BOBBY BRINKLEY bid along the rail then swung out six wide coming into the stretch, rallied and was up for the show prize. J C'S NIGHTCAP chased the leasers while four wide, made a mild bid six wide mid stretch but was no threat. MEN OF KYLE was unhurried early, then bid three wide on the turn, came out six to seven wide in the stretch but was no factor. ARYESCELESTIC MAN dueled for the lead while two wide into the turn, was hard used and tired in upper stretch.
