Chart notes
MIGHTY MATT stalked the pace early on, traveling three wide, then inherited the lead at the head of the lane, drawing off from the field to win easily in the stretch drive. TENTH OF GOLD was near the back down the backstretch, started a rally in the turn and was steadied hard coming into the stretch and closed well. JAMES GANG pressed the pace, going two wide, then got steadied a bit coming out of the turn, angled out and made a mild bid, to get up for third. WILLACY had no early foot, racing along the rail, then angled out in the stretch, four wide and failed to respond. RUNINGDOWNTHEDREAM was in contention early racing four wide and stopped in the stretch drive. SGT. QUINCANNON made the lead and was pulled up at the quarter pole and was vanned off.
