BARBED WIRE dueled three deep for the early lead, continued to battle outside of TROUBLE IN RED into the lane, dug in gamely and edged ahead at the sixteenth pole. TROUBLE IN RED dueled between foes for the early lead, continued to battle inside of BARBED WIRE into the stretch run and got outkicked late. G. I. JAYNE tracked the top trio into the turn, hustled along two to three wide into the upper stretch and gained a share. STREAKIN' EASY raced off the early pace, was ridden along three to four wide around the turn and failed to kick on. PENNY EXPRESS was off a step slow and broke inward at the start, lacked early speed and failed to rally. BLITZED vied for the lead along the inside into the turn and weakened approaching the quarter pole.
