Chart notes
PRAIRIE WOLF sped to the lead at the start and showed the way around the turn, saved ground turning for home, responded at the head of the lane, widened advantage a furlong out and stayed sharp under a driving finish. STROLLN DOWN WELCH tracked two wide in close contention around the turn, hustled up three wide heading into the lane, sustained a solid bid and finished clearly second best. WAKE UP ANGEL was forwardly placed racing just off the early leader, chased inside around the turn, flattened off the top pair in the upper stretch but stayed clear for a share. BIZZY RUN raced off the early speed, saved ground around the turn and lacked a needed rally. BLUEGRASS FLIGHT raced off the early pace, was ridden along two wide around the turn and failed to threaten. TAFFADAHL was off a bit slow at the start and raced in back throughout.
