Chart notes
BATTLE CHARGE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, turned back a bid through the second turn, shook clear into the stretch, then kicked away from a late challenge and held. DANA'S BEAUTY allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, bid three wide into the lane, headed the leader at the furlong pole, then was no match for that one, while clearly best of the rest. HAPPY BEE well placed and outside, lost some ground two path turn, angled widest in the stretch and held the show. TWILA MAE never far back, saved ground through the turns, came through inside and weakened the final furlong. CHARLOTTE THE BRIT stalked the pace while pulling, moved up to challenge through the second turn, then faded into the stretch.
