DECLARED set the pace inside, shook clear down the backstretch, then drew off while unchallenged and was kept to the task. KOOSMAN tracked the pace, saved ground through the turns, came through inside, then could not threaten and held the place safe. DECEIVER ]allowed to settle, looped three and four wide through the second turn, came widest into the stretch, made a steady gain and missed the place. BAHAMIAN PARK unhurried early, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch and evened out. VIRGINIA FIB mid pack, gained position two and three wide through the second turn, bid three wide into the lane and weakened the final furlong. BOAT WAMPUM well placed, faded after a half.
