Chart notes
SAMURAI CAUSE was unhurried early then made a steady gain while three wide on the turn, dug in gamely mid stretch and was up at the wire to prevail. DREAMS OF VALOR stalked the pace while two wide, was in a hard drive in upper stretch, drifted out slightly and brushed rival then continued to make a gamely rally in the final furlong and held for place. CONATIVE was unhurried early then came out five in upper stretch to rally and was closing well in the end. SHIFTY HENRY set the pace from the inside, was in a steady drive at the top of the lane, rallied, but faltered in late stretch. PEPPER JACK chased the pace while three wide, made a mild bid on the turn then was brushed by rival mid stretch and failed to menace. TIZ ALLUPTOME NOW was unhurried early then continued to bid along the rail on the turn and failed to rally in the end.
