Chart notes
FINISH LINE tracked the pace in the opening quarter then angled inside and edged up to challenge for the lead leaving the turn, vied inside challengers through the lane, held a slight edge, dug in gamely and prevailed. GOD'S PICK was a bit sluggish at the start and raced in back, picked up the pace leaving the backstretch, roused forward to challenge for the lead late on the turn, vied between rivals into the lane, stayed on determinedly and just missed. BRASSY FIRE was forwardly placed then took over the lead near the five sixteenths pole, came under attack from a duo late on the turn, dueled three deep through the lane and narrowly missed. SPORTY FLYER tracked in range through early stages, was ridden three to four wide around the turn and failed to threaten. LUCKS BIG BOY set the early pace then came up empty mid-way around the turn and continued to tire in the lane.
