Chart notes
CANDY ANNE vied for the lead in the opening quarter then tracked the leader around the turn, launched a bid at the head of the lane, steadily edged up closer and forged clear in the final sixteenth. MAGIC IN A HAT raced off the clear top pair in early stages then hustled along four wide into the lane, stayed on determinedly along the outside and got up late for place. CYBER SNEAKER tracked the top pair then urged near the inside around the turn, tipped three wide for the drive, stayed on with response and captured show. SENTIMENTAL CROSS briefly vied for the early lead then shook clear and held firm around the turn, continued clear into the final furlong then weakened late. DENALI ROCKET tracked the pace up the backstretch then weakened mid-way around the turn and had no late response.
