Chart notes
STARSHIP EMPIRE tracked the pace while pulling, moved up inside through the second turn while boxed, angled out when clear, came four wide into the stretch, then drifted in under left hand urging and drew off. BEACH PASS stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, drifted in and closed for the place. HONORABLE set the pace on the inside, shook clear down the backstretch, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then weakened the final furlong and held the show. CASK well placed, dropped back and passed a tiring rivals in the lane. ATLANTIC RULER checked at the start, was never far back and faded after a half.
