Chart notes
RED DUBONNET tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angled out to bid three wide outside the leader, then made a steady gain and drove clear late. SHIRLEY'S SHERMAN mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and closed the gap on the winner late. CALL ME PEAK set the pace off the rail, shook clear through the turn, then weakened late and held the show. MULETRAIN allowed to settle, moved up three and four wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch and evened out. HE IS READY vied for the early lead on the inside and faded into the stretch. TARQUIN was no factor.
