Chart notes
PRESSLY'S HOPE set the pace from the inside, was in a long drive down the backstretch, was challenged by an outside rival on the far turn then was in a gamely duel on the stretch and was able to hold on well to prevail. GURKHA GOLD (IRE) was in a steady drive while tracking the pace in the two path, was gaining on the far turn to duel with the leader coming into upper stretch, was in a hard menace but missed in the end and was second best. TUDELA broke out and brushed rival then was allowed to settled while two wide on the back stretch, then was steady urging on the far turn to rally in the stretch drive but it was not enough. MALIBU MIDNIGHT was unhurried early then swung five wide coming into upper stretch, rallied and was closing willingly in the end. GLITTERARY chased the pace while four wide then bid on the far turn then flattened out in late stretch. IRISH BIZ chased the pace along the rail, then dropped back on the far turn, made a mild bid in the stretch but was no threat. CATCH THE DEVIL chased the pace while three wide then faded coming into the far turn and never fired.
